| Jared Newman is a freelance writer who covers video games and technology. He holds a master's degree in magazine journalism from New York University and spent time in the trenches of a daily newspaper in Norwalk, Conn. Home is now the warmer climes of Venice, Calif., where he lives with his girlfriend. Before entering the journalism profession, Jared was a music major at the University of Michigan.
