I am a freelance journalist based in San Diego, Calif. My work has appeared in Wired Magazine, the Escapist and the New York Sun. Occasionally, I post at my blog of games.

Previously, I was a staff reporter for the The Hour, a daily paper serving Norwalk, Conn., covering local politics, transportation, city government and the courts.

Before entering this noble profession, I majored in music at the University of Michigan. Arts writing for the student newspaper inspred me to practice journalism, and I earned a master's degree from NYU's magazine journalism program in 2006. I still play guitar, which in my opinion, is a lot like writing.
